Wild Goose Qigong is a complete healing system. It is one of the most widely practiced styles of Qigong in China today. It is well known for its lovely and graceful movements that suggest an innocent and carefree wild goose. Wild Goose Qigong is a safe and powerful way to make your body stronger, your mind sharper and your mood happier. The movements and postures naturally open the twelve meridians, and induce Micro-Cosmic Orbit to circulate within the governing and conception vessels.

It increases body and mind flexibility and improves cognitive function. Wild Goose Qigong is the safest and the most enjoyable Qigong to make our body stronger, our mind sharper, and our mood happier.

Awareness in Wild Goose Qigong

The focus of this New Year’s retreat is on the basic awareness training of Wild Goose Qigong and meditation. Along with practicing the gentle and graceful movements, Dr. Hu will explain in simple terms:

• What is “sensory-motor” awareness?

• Why is training of “relaxation in line” important?

• How does one place awareness on longevity acu-points?

• Why should we be aware of the “breathing space” within our torso?

• How are “mudras” and “mantras” related to Qigong awareness?

• What is “positive imagery” in Wild Goose Qigong?

The Qigong materials to be taught and practiced in this retreat will include:

• Wild Goose- I (First 64 Movements)

• Wild Goose- II (Second 64 Movements)

• Wild Goose-III (Kunlun Bagua)

• Wild Goose-IV (Tripod & Spiral)

• Wild Goose-V (Soft Palms)

• Wild Goose-VI (Patting Along the Meridians)

• Wild Goose-VII (Back-Stretching)
