I am from Sydney, Australia, currently attending wild goose qigong class, have completed part 1 and 2. Like to purchase some DVD to help enhance my practise.

Do you have wild goose qigong in DVD and how many parts?

Where can I get them and what are the price.

I will be in London late August , thinking of getting them

Hi Karen,
I too had severe back pain before I started WGQ - within 6 months it had gone completely. I am sure qigong will help. The nearest classes to you are in Gatley on a Sunday from 5-6pm, but there are other classes locally. Have a look on the 'classes and instructors' page. You can email me on sheila.waddington@btinternet.com.

dear Sheila, A friend has recommended this practice to me as I have suffered back problems for over thirteen years, tried most things and still suffer. I have had three slipped discs (2 lower back one in neck) do you think it would help and when and where are the classes - I live in stockport (reddish) thank you karen

Great Seminar at Hoylake with Dr Hu. We did not expect to learn all of "Tripod and Spiral" (WG4) in the week-end. Hard work but I think we all improved our knowledge and understanding of Wild goose Qigong

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, no WG teachers near me. Perhaps in the future...

Hello Gravstars,
I have a long answer and a short answer, the long answer will not fit on here for some reason, so will reply to you privately.
Short answer is yes, you can learn from the DVD but to be competent you need a teacher. The DVD's are best used as a memory jogger.
If you have to modify at all then keep all the directions the same and the number of steps the same, just make them smaller. This is not ideal so start looking for a place where you can practise with ease.

Some movements can be practised individually, but you will have to ask your teacher.

Hi! A couple questions, maybe you can answer. Is it possible to competently learn Wild Goose Qigong on one's own, say from Dr. Hu's videos? Also, can the forms be modified to a practice area that's too small to take all the consecutive steps needed in one direction?
